    My recent Easter stay at Rondane Haukliseter Fjellhotell was a delightful escape into a bygone era of timber houses and serene mountain landscapes. The vintage cabin we stayed in, Gammelsetra, felt like a living museum from the 1950s-70s, preserved yet fully functional - a truly immersive and comfortable experience.The hotel's surroundings are a nature lover's paradise, offering endless hiking paths and panoramic views that stir the soul. The helpful manager ensured our stay was rewarding and memorable, going above and beyond to assist us in exploring the region's beauty.The comfort of the rooms, complete with modern amenities and a touch of rustic charm, provided a cozy retreat after days filled with walking and day trips. The Norwegian breakfast, though standard, was satisfying, setting us up for a day of adventure in the rugged outdoors.Whether you're seeking tranquility amidst the mountains, eager to explore Rondane National Park, or simply yearning for a unique cultural experience, Rondane Haukliseter Fjellhotell offers a blend of comfort, heritage, and natural beauty that is sure to captivate all who visit.
